About the Symposium

Unraveling Differences, Reweaving Society
STOMA Néo-ART Symposium
From Paris to Tokyo, and into the Future
This symposium brings together experts at the forefront of stoma and continence care to deepen the discussion toward a society with more choices.
Exploring the challenges and possibilities of continence care from diverse perspectives — medicine, fashion, technology, and social systems — it offers a forum where ostomates, medical professionals, designers, and researchers think together.
Building on the practice of the Stoma Néo-ART Project born in Paris, we will share new values of bodily diversity and self-expression from Tokyo to the world.
